Walter, a crazy & messy friend, invited us to discover his land, his
whites and to adopt one ‘child’ as well. We decided to give it a try and ‘grow’ this child as one of our own welcoming this grape to the Hilberg family.
A white wine born from friendship and craftsmanship — rooted in Piedmont, inspired by France, with a quiet reverence for the elegance of German whites. Its balance lies in restraint, not in excess. Handpicked and carefully selected, the grapes are brought to Roero and cooled overnight. Gentle pressing precedes a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation in steel. Ageing continues in rotating Clayver vessels, allowing for delicate batonnage. Bottled with precision, the wine rests for at least six months before release — composed, expressive, and unmistakably its own.
